Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls 2013 T-Shirt Design Contest!
Calling all artists and designers! Would you like to see hundreds of Rock Camp attendees, staff, and volunteers wearing a t-shirt with your design on it?
All work due April 30, 2013 at 11:59pm PST.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls will post then their top 5-10 submissions online and open the contest voting up to the internet in May!
The three designs with the most “likes” will then go to Staff and Board who will select the winning design by May 15, 2013. By early June, your design will be plastered on 400+ t-shirts arriving at RNRC4G HQ for Summer Camp!
All contestants will receive an “I Put the Amp In Camp” Rock Camp supporter sticker and the satisfaction of helping an awesome non-profit!
In addition, the 2nd and 3rd place designs will receive an awesome Rock & Roll Camp For Girls Prize Pack, including R&RC4G merch and other goodies!
The designer whose logo is chosen will also receive:
● Two Tickets to the Summer Camp 2013 Showcase of your choice.
● A “Designer’s Bio/Award Winner” feature on our Facebook page!
● Your work emblazoned on some 400+ t-shirts, rocked by staff, volunteers, and camp attendees throughout Summer Camp 2013 (and year-round too!).
2012 was a year of change, forward motion, and the predicted apocalypse; therefore our theme was the “Rockpocalypse”. 2013 has been a year of restructuring, growth, and renewal and we can’t wait to see how contestants interpret this into a theme!
We encourage you to use our name in your design “Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls” (note the ‘n’ and lowercase “for”) as well as the year “2013”. Other text can include “Portland, Oregon”, or words that relate to the theme, music, or our mission and core values.
We strive to break stereotypes of what it means to be a girl as well as what it means to “rock”, so be open in your interpretation of Rock Camp. Designs, otherwise, can be as weird and wild as your imagination is, so long as the content is your original creation, all ages appropriate and speaks to RNRC4G, our mission, and/or our theme in some way. Simple may work best: avoid tiny details, shading.
